Synapse AI (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Synapse AI Keyboard mobile application and our website (the “Service”).

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth.
• AI prompt history: When you run an AI prompt, the text you send and the AI's response are stored in your account, along with timestamps and energy credit consumption, so the Service can show your history and usage. Normal typing is never collected — only text you explicitly select and send to a prompt.
• Keyboard permissions: The Android app requests Internet and Vibration permissions only. It does not request location, contacts, SMS, call logs, or microphone access, and it never collects anything from password or OTP fields.
• Payment data: Payments processed through Gumroad and Cryptomus are handled by those services directly. We do not store your card or wallet details.

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process transactions and credit your energy account
• Sync data between the mobile app and web dashboard
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent abuse or fraud

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and database
• Google OAuth — sign-in provider
• OpenRouter — AI text generation
• Gumroad — card payment processing
• Cryptomus — crypto payment processing
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics

AI prompt history and usage records are stored until you request account deletion. There is currently no in-app delete button — email support@synapsetalk.com and we will delete your account and associated data. Any remaining energy credits are forfeited on deletion, since they are non-refundable.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure token-based authentication, and row-level security on all database tables. Your password is never stored (Google OAuth handles authentication).

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of marketing communications
